Back then, it wasn’t about angles, color grading, or “building a brand.”
It was about pressing record.
Showing up.
Trying again after every awkward take.
Somewhere between missed focus shots, late nights, and learning everything the hard way, the obsession kicked in. The stories mattered. The craft mattered. I mattered.
Fast forward and that same kid is now behind the camera for real — creating visuals with intention, running my own business, betting on myself every single day.
No shortcuts.
No overnight success.
Just consistency, failure, growth, and the courage to keep going when it would’ve been easier to quit.
This journey taught me that you don’t need permission to start — you just need the nerve to keep going long enough to become who you said you wanted to be.
